The auctioned processor is said to be an engineering sample (ES). The Intel Core i9-9900T is expected to be produced in Intel's 14nm ++ process, with the same 8-core, 16-thread and 16MB L3 cache as the Core i9-9900K. However, as a T-series chip, its main frequency is greatly reduced to meet the 35W TDP (thermal design power).

According to reports, Core i9-9900T, eight core 16 threads, clocked at 1.7GHz, Core frequency 3.8GHz (may be single-core and dual-core boost). Foreign media believes that the Core i9-9900T's full core acceleration frequency may be around 3.3GHz. The seller also claimed that the processor is faster than the Intel Core i7-8700K.

It is reported that the auction of the Core i9-9900T starts at 35,000 yen (about 2100 yuan).
