Bitmain first exposed two new mining machines with new 7nm chips

  On November 6th, Bitmain officially released new news on social media Twitter. It is reported that the two ant mining models equipped with the new 7nm chip are S15 and T15, respectively, which will be launched globally in the near future, including North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. In the Chinese market, the new products will be officially launched on the official website at 2 pm on November 8.

At the global digital currency eco-industrial chain summit held in September this year, Wu Jihan announced for the first time that 7m chips independently developed by Bitmain will be put into mass production and applied to the next generation of ant mining machines. The chip integrates up to 1 billion transistors and is algorithmically optimized. In addition, the chip uses a unique circuit structure and low power technology, the energy efficiency ratio will be as low as 42J / T. From the iterative process of chip process technology, the performance of these two 7nm mining machines to be launched is very worth looking forward to.

According to the previously published prospectus, Bitmain has invested heavily in research and development resources in recent years to improve and upgrade chip designs. To date, the company has developed and mass-produced a number of ASIC chips supporting different cryptocurrency mining and ASIC chips for AI applications.

It is reported that Bitmain has established an engineering research and development team of more than 800 people, focusing on chip design, algorithm development, platform architecture, software and hardware research, and accumulated rich experience in teamwork and designing chips.

According to public information, in 2016, Bitmain was the first to release and mass-produce 16nm chips, and applied to models such as the Ant Mine S9. In addition, the Ant Mining Machine has also introduced a number of mining machines that support different encryption algorithms to fully meet the mining needs of various digital currency enthusiasts. After two years, Bitmain once again launched a new generation of 7nm mining machine with new process technology, which caused great concern in the industry.
