CRMA/CRSA Series Thick Film Resistors

Bourns' CRMA/CRSA series feature a power rating up to 2 W at +70°C

Bourns' CRMA/CRSA series help strengthen the already broad range of surface-mount chip resistors. They are high-power, sulfur-resistant, AEC-Q200 compliant chip resistors available in six different footprints from 0603 (1608 metric) up to 2512 (6431 metric). The model CRMxxxxA has a wide resistance range from 0.05 Ω and a high-power rating, making it ideal for current sensing. The model CRSxxxxA has superior pulse load capability.

These series are suitable for use in applications such as automotive (driver assistant, information, entertainment, and lighting), industrial, and automation applications, as well as power supplies and communication base stations. They are designed to operate in harsh environments exposed to higher levels of sulfur contamination.

These resistors are made using a thick film element which is printed onto a ceramic substrate and tested in accordance with ASTM B809-9 method. They have a wide resistance range.

This series family complements the other circuit conditioning components offered by Bourns, such as power inductors, rectifier diodes, and Zener diodes.
